TOOLS YOU NEED TO MAKE A SIMPLE GARDEN
There is not getting away from it to make a garden you will need some tools. Fortunately there are not that many for just basic gardening. Most of the fancy tools and gizmos are just that like all those kitchen gizmos that you never use. This is all you really need.
ESSENTIAL.
SPADE to dig the ground.
FORK to dig ground and turn soil
RAKE not a leaf rake a garden rake. Rake the soil down control it and fluff it out.
TROWEL. For planting small seedlings.
HOSE for watering your plants.
NICE TO HAVE
SOAKER HOSE. Makes it easier to water, gets water close to the plant and saves you time.
LOPPERS for cutting and removing any roots you find when digging.
PRUNERS. For cutting smaller stuff that you don't need loppers for.
GARDEN SNIPS. Great for harvesting herbs and some veggies, you can get
away with scissors but these are better.
